Yes,but metanol as a fuel can cause much more wear on the internal parts of the engine(as was shown by the testings on car,truck and other smaller engines)

If you have 180 degree gas coming into a sox scrubber intake and use one of this can you cool down the gas and let the acidic condensation just carry over to the scrubber? Alot of heat energy is getting lost in a sox scrubber.
